Message from the Board Chairperson
Dear Partners, Supporters, and Community Members,
As we reflect on 2024, I am proud to present the annual report for the Kiruhura Women Development Agency (K-WIDE). This year has been one of growth, resilience, and impactful change. Through the dedication of our team and the support from our partners, we have made significant strides in empowering women and girls in Kiruhura, Uganda. We were also delighted to having been joined by a new donor “the Haella Stinching foundation” which is coming on board to support us deliver to our community.
Throughout the year, we have focused on key areas such as advocacy, economic empowerment, education, and mindset change. Our programs have reached thousands of community members, providing them with the tools and knowledge to improve their lives and those of their families. We have also faced challenges, particularly in securing adequate funding and overcoming cultural barriers, but these have only strengthened our resolve to continue our mission.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about the opportunities to expand our programs and deepen our impact. We remain committed to fostering a sustainable and inclusive society where women and girls can thrive.
