Kiruhura Women Development Agency
A registered indigenous Non-Government Organization that was formed in 2014 by a group of 05 women touched by the unfair conditions in which women and girls live in Uganda and Kiruhura in particular.

We are honoured to introduce ourselves as the Executive Directors of Kiruhura Women Development Agency (K-WIDE) passionate advocates for women rights and empowerment. We are privileged to lead this incredible organization dedicated to advancing the status and wellbeing of women and girls in Uganda.
As Executive Directors, our commitment to our mission runs deep. We believe that when women and girls are empowered and given equal opportunities, it not only transforms individual lives but also strengthens entire communities and societies.
To us, this is not just a job; it’s calling. We are steadfast in our determination to creating a world where gender equality is not just a goal but a reality. We are committed to driving progress, dismantling barriers, and creating a more inclusive society.
With our background, experience and expertise in community work, human resource management, finance and accountability, child protection, and grants management, we are focused to driving meaningful change.
Our team at K-WIDE works tirelessly to provide women with resources, support, and opportunities to women and girls, giving them a platform for their voices to be heard, empowering them to break through glass ceilings and achieve their aspirations.
